Torrie Smiley is a painter of landscape and still life, working in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. I recently came across her work and fell instantly in love with her simple but classical compositions and her fun, bold use of color and brushstrokes. You won't find any prints in her Etsy shop but you will find fabulous, affordable works of fine art that would be a complement to any decor. After all that excitement, I was completely blown away to find out I was included in another expertly curated treasury by my friend Linda, who happens to be one of the mosaic artists I greatly admire and look up to, as well as a wonderfully inspirational being and an authority figure on all things mosaicy.
